Library - Slavonski Brod

The Branch Library was established as a special, semi-open library, primarily intended for the scientific research work of employees of the Branch of the Croatian Institute of History. The majority of the library collection consists of books, magazines and other periodicals from national history and related fields, as well as comparative foreign literature.

The library’s collection includes around 10,000 book titles and over 500 titles of various periodicals. Since June 2003. Since 2011, the library has had one graduate librarian working in it, and since then, the establishment of a computer catalog, updating and renewing the library’s card catalog, and updating the periodicals records have been underway. In addition to regular library processing and book procurement and lending, the library also exchanges books and journals with 83 institutions in the country and abroad.
