Governing Council

The Institute is managed by the Board of Directors and the Director. The Management Council of the Institute has 5 members. More than half of the members of the Governing Council of the Institute, which includes the president and two members of the Governing Council of the Institute, are appointed by the Ministry. One member of the Institute’s Governing Council is appointed by the Institute’s Scientific Council, and one member is appointed or elected from among the Institute’s employees through the Institute’s workers’ council. The mandate of the members of the Governing Council of the Institute lasts for four years. If a member of the Governing Council of the Institute ceases to serve before the end of the mandate, a new member is appointed until the end of the mandate, in the procedure prescribed by the Law.
