Proffesor Liang Zhanjun (PhD), Dean of the Institute of Global and Regional Studies at Capital Normal University in Beijing and President of the Chinese Association for Modern World History, visited the Croatian Institute of History today. He was accompanied by Dr Ivica Bakota, Assistant Professor at the Department of History of the same university.
Following fruitful and pleasant discussions on science and the potential for academic cooperation, an agreement on collaboration between the Croatian Institute of History and the Institute of Global and Regional Studies of Capital Normal University was signed.
The two academic institutions plan to establish a joint research center at the Croatian Institute of History, titled “Research Center for the Dialogue of Civilizations”, whose mission is to promote academic and cultural exchange in the fields of scientific research and education.
