The international conference in Mostar was attended by 60 scientists from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and surrounding countries, he said, adding that the two volumes of the collection include 46 author contributions on 1,600 pages.<br \/>\nHe assessed that the works were interdisciplinary in nature and added that, in addition to historians, the conference also included art historians, archaeologists, and philologists.<br \/>\nMatijevi\u0107 Sokol pointed out that 28 contributions were published in the first volume on 866 pages and added that the introductory texts were written by Ivica Lu\u010di\u0107 and Nino Raspudi\u0107.<br \/>\nShe recalled that the first volume, among others, published works by An\u0111elko Mijatovi\u0107, Marinko Tomasovi\u0107, Fra Hrvatin Gabrijelo Juri\u0161i\u0107 and Robert Joli\u0107, and added that the second volume also included works by Domagoj Vidovi\u0107, Ivica \u0160arac and Tomislav Jonji\u0107.<br \/>\nShe noted that the collection concluded with final words by Ivica Lu\u010di\u0107 and assessed that it was a comprehensive work on Hum and Herzegovina, which lays the foundations for future research.<\/p>\n<p>Source: Hina<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-967\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/hum1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"256\"><a><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-966\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/hum2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"256\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ZAGREB, January 23, 2012 &#8211; The proceedings of the international scientific conference &#8220;Hum and Herzegovina through History&#8221;, which was held in Mostar in 2009, were presented today at the Croatian Institute of History in Zagreb.
